We are approximately 500 Sisters of St. Louis around the world - Ireland, Brazil, England, France, Ghana, Nigeria and the USA. We also have a foundation in the Republic of Benin. This has been established by the Nigeria Province.
We are involved in a diversity of ministries: Health Care, Education in its many facets, Counseling, Writing. Retreat giving, Spiritual Direction, Parish Ministry, Care of the Elderly, Women’s issues and much more.
The Province of Nigeria is relatively young attaining her Provincial Status on January 21, 1995. The Province is basically the country of Nigeria but has a foundation in Akpassi, Republic of Benin
